My Story
My path to this work was shaped by recovery, healing, and the long process of learning how to return to myself.
I am a recovering addict, and for many years my life was guided by survival patterns rooted in trauma, people-pleasing, and a deep lack of self-worth.
After experiencing sexual assault, I learned to disconnect from my body, silence my needs, and measure my value by how well I could accommodate others. On the outside, I appeared capable and composed; internally, I carried shame, self-doubt, and a persistent sense of disconnection.
Recovery became about much more than sobriety. It asked me to unlearn the patterns that once protected me but ultimately kept me from living fully. I had to rebuild trust with my body, my intuition, and my voice — and learn that boundaries and self-respect are essential, not optional.
Much of my healing unfolded outside traditional clinical spaces. It happened in relationship with horses, in the quiet truth of the natural world, and in moments of stillness where avoidance was no longer possible. These experiences taught me that healing is not about fixing what is broken, but about remembering what has always been whole.

My Approach
I am a certified Equine-Facilitated Coach, Wilderness Walk® Shadow Coach, and Holy Fire® Reiki Practitioner, offering an embodied, trauma-informed approach to personal growth and integration.
My work is experiential rather than purely cognitive. Horses and nature provide immediate, honest feedback — mirroring emotional states, relational patterns, and internal conflicts without judgment. In these spaces, awareness deepens, old coping strategies soften, and clients gain access to insight that lives beyond words.
As a Shadow Coach, I support clients in gently exploring the parts of themselves they’ve learned to hide, reject, or fear. These aspects are not flaws; they are adaptive responses shaped by lived experience. When met with curiosity and compassion, they become gateways to clarity, choice, and self-trust.
I work with individuals navigating recovery, people-pleasing, self-worth challenges, identity transitions, and emotional exhaustion. Our work together is slow, intentional, and paced with respect for your nervous system and capacity.
I believe lasting change happens when you feel safe enough to be honest with yourself. My role is not to fix or lead you, but to walk alongside you as you reconnect with your body, boundaries, and innate wisdom. Healing is possible — and you don’t have to do it alone.

Coaching modalities I practice
Equine Facilitated Learning (EFL)
Equine Facilitated Learning is an experiential, body-based approach to growth and awareness. Each session is guided by your intention, and the experiences that unfold are shaped in real time in response to what is present for you.
All work takes place on the ground, in a safe and contained round pen. My herd intuitively selects which horse or horses wish to engage with you during the session. Horses are deeply perceptive beings — they mirror us from the inside out, reflecting emotional states, relational patterns, and internal truths without judgment.
Through this process, horses invite us back into our bodies, reconnect us with our intuition, and create space to feel emotions that may have been suppressed or ignored. Their presence offers honest feedback and profound support, allowing insight and healing to arise naturally.
Wilderness Walk® Shadow Coaching
Wilderness Walk® Shadow Coaching invites you into a deeper exploration of the parts of yourself that have been hidden, suppressed, or misunderstood. Often referred to as our “darkness,” these aspects frequently hold untapped strength, creativity, and wisdom — parts of our light that have not yet been allowed to emerge.
Sessions take place in nature and are guided intuitively, allowing the work to unfold according to what is alive in the moment. Shadow work may include somatic practices, Internal Family Systems–informed exploration, psychodrama, and/or shamanic modalities. Each journey is unique, responsive, and paced with care for your nervous system and emotional safety.
This work offers an opportunity to meet yourself with honesty and compassion, bringing integration where fragmentation once lived.
Holy Fire® Reiki
When called upon, Holy Fire® Reiki may be incorporated to support energetic alignment and healing. Reiki energy works gently to clear blocks, balance the chakras, and facilitate restoration through the subtle, unspoken sharing of energy.
Reiki may be offered in collaboration with the horses, whose presence can deepen the experience and support regulation, grounding, and connection. This work is invitational, intuitive, and always guided by what feels appropriate for you in the moment.
